Minor Hotels Europe & Americas has announced the addition of the NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso to its upper-upscale NH Collection Hotels & Resorts brand in Italy. This four-star property, located in the heart of the Pennine Alps, will undergo extensive renovations starting in March 2025 before officially reopening as NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso.
Situated in the picturesque town of Alagna Valsesia at the base of Monte Rosa, the hotel is an ideal destination for ski enthusiasts and families alike. Just minutes from the Alagna cable car, guests will have easy access to the Monte Rosa Ski Resort, a premier skiing destination connecting three valleys: the Valsesia Valley, the Gressoney Valley, and the Champoluc Valley. This resort features 150 kilometers of ski slopes spanning the Piedmont and Aosta Valley regions.
The property boasts 56 rooms and a state-of-the-art Wellness Center with a Spa. The Spa includes:
- A 300-square-meter adults-only area with indoor and outdoor pools, a floating saltwater pool, hydromassage facilities, two saunas, a Turkish bath, experiential showers, and four treatment rooms.
- A separate 400-square-meter family-friendly area with its own indoor and outdoor pools.
The hotel’s expansive garden includes a children’s play area and sun loungers, offering a perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes. Guests can also enjoy a rich gastronomic experience with options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the on-site restaurant. The dining options include full board and an à la carte menu.
