Turkish Airlines Boosts Lisbon-Istanbul Connections to 18 Weekly Flights

Starting June 9th, Turkish Airlines will increase the number of weekly flights between Lisbon and Istanbul from 14 to 18, offering passengers greater flexibility and convenience. This adjustment underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and creating new opportunities for its partners and customers.

“This increase reflects our commitment to offering greater flexibility, convenience, and opportunities for new connections to the market,” Turkish Airlines stated in a release.

The additional frequencies will operate as follows:

  • From Istanbul to Lisbon: Flights will depart at 8:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in the Portuguese capital at 11:35 PM.
  • From Lisbon to Istanbul: Flights will depart at 6:10 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, reaching Istanbul at 1:00 PM.

“We believe that this new frequency will create new opportunities for our partners and customers, facilitating access to Turkish Airlines’ extensive network,” the airline added.

Turkish Airlines’ expanded schedule between Lisbon and Istanbul strengthens its position as a major player in connecting Europe with destinations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East through its hub in Istanbul. Passengers will benefit from more seamless travel options and enhanced connectivity to the airline’s vast global network.
