Cham Wings Resumes Ticket Sales for Damascus-Moscow Flights

Cham Wings Airlines has announced the resumption of ticket sales for flights between Damascus and Moscow. This development was reported by TASS, citing a representative of the airline.

“Ticket sales have resumed; however, it should be noted that the final decision on the resumption of flights, and consequently the possibility of operating the route, remains with the country’s aviation authorities,” the airline representative stated.

Flight Details

According to the representative, tickets are currently available for a flight from Damascus to Moscow on December 18th and the return flight on December 19th. Information on the airline’s official website confirms this schedule, indicating a flight time of 5 hours and 15 minutes between the two cities. Flights are scheduled as follows:

  • To Moscow: Wednesdays
  • From Moscow: Thursdays

Operational Context

Earlier reports indicated that Damascus International Airport would remain closed until at least the evening of December 18th, while Aleppo International Airport is expected to be closed until the evening of December 17th. Additionally, a Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) issued by Syria’s aviation authorities states that the country’s airspace will be closed to all types of aircraft until the evening of December 22nd.
