On December 16-17, Moscow will host the international Meet Global MICE Congress: BRICS Edition, gathering business tourism industry representatives from around the world. The event will include professionals from government agencies, associations, event organizers, hoteliers, and other industry experts, as announced by Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
The conference will focus on the development of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, a tourism sector dedicated to organizing events and business travel. According to Sergunina, experts from nine BRICS countries, including Russia, China, Brazil, India, and Ethiopia, will participate, discussing business tourism growth, sharing best practices in workforce training, and exploring tools to increase business travel flows.
The conference program will feature discussions, thematic sessions, and specialized training for industry professionals. The main topic of the opening plenary session on the first day will be strengthening partnerships and finding new avenues for collaboration among BRICS countries.
