Following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, several foreign airlines are resuming flights to Israel as security conditions stabilize. The renewed operations signal a recovery in international air travel to and from Israel after weeks of uncertainty.
Azerbaijan Airlines will restart its Tel Aviv-Baku route on November 30, while Greece’s Aegean Airlines is set to resume flights on December 10. Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air will gradually reintegrate Israel into its network, beginning December 20.
Numerous airlines have already resumed operations, including TAROM, Arkia, El Al, Hainan Airlines, Etihad Airways, TUS, Bluebird Airways, Corendon Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, Electra Airways, GullivAir, FlyOne, Ethiopian Airlines, Bees, and Sky.
The return of flights highlights growing confidence in the region’s stability and security, providing much-needed connectivity for travelers and boosting the local tourism and business sectors. Further announcements from additional airlines are anticipated in the coming weeks as quiet prevails and conditions continue to improve.
