Marriott International has officially opened its first hotel in Luxembourg, marking an exciting expansion into the heart of Europe. The new property, connected directly to Luxembourg Airport via an indoor walkway, offers convenience and modern comfort for both business and leisure travelers. Guests can enjoy 129 stylishly designed rooms, along with the lively Bar Moxy, an inviting open-air terrace, and a petanque court, adding a unique recreational touch.
A Second Marriott Hotel Coming to Luxembourg
In addition to this debut, Marriott International is preparing to open a second hotel, the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa, by the end of the year. This 153-room property will be located on Place de la Gare, just across from Luxembourg’s main railway station. The building, previously known as the Hotel Mercure Grand Hotel Alfa Luxembourg, will undergo significant renovations to restore and highlight its historic charm.
Blending History with Modern Comfort
The design of the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa will pay homage to the building’s rich history, incorporating art deco elements from its 1930s heritage. The iconic style will be featured in the lobby, M Club, and guestrooms, offering guests a blend of classic elegance and contemporary luxury.
The hotel will also feature a fully equipped fitness center and five versatile meeting rooms, ideal for business travelers. The Brasserie Alfa, a French-inspired restaurant, will serve as the hotel’s signature dining venue, showcasing original artworks by renowned Luxembourg artist Julien Lefèvre.
Marriott’s Growing Presence in Luxembourg
With the opening of its first hotel at the airport and the upcoming launch of the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa, Marriott International is poised to strengthen its presence in Luxembourg. These two properties offer a combination of modern amenities, historical charm, and unparalleled convenience, setting a new standard for hospitality in the country.
