Growing concerns over the potential for a wider conflict in the Middle East have prompted several international airlines to either suspend flights to the region or avoid affected airspace. Below is a list of airlines that have made adjustments to their services to and from the region:
AEGEAN AIRLINES
The Greek airline has canceled all flights to and from Beirut until October 31 and to and from Tel Aviv until October 13.
AIR ALGERIE
Algerian national carrier has suspended flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.
AIRBALTIC
Latvian carrier airBaltic has canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 31.
AIR EUROPA
The Spanish airline has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until October 14.
AIR FRANCE-KLM
Air France extended the suspension of its Paris-Tel Aviv flights until October 15, and Paris-Beirut flights until October 26.
KLM has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until at least the end of the year.
Transavia, the low-cost unit of the Air France-KLM group, has canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025, and flights to Amman and Beirut until November 3.
AIR INDIA
India’s flag carrier has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice.
BULGARIA AIR
Bulgaria Air has canceled flights to and from Israel until October 31.
CATHAY PACIFIC
The Hong Kong-based airline has canceled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.
DELTA AIR LINES
The U.S. carrier has paused its flights between New York and Tel Aviv through December 31.
EASYJET
The UK budget airline halted flights to and from Tel Aviv in April and plans to resume flights on March 30, 2025.
EMIRATES
The UAE’s state-owned airline canceled flights to Beirut through October 15 but resumed flights to and from Iran and Iraq on October 8. It resumed flights to Amman on October 6.
FLYDUBAI
The Emirati airline has suspended flights between Dubai and Beirut until October 31.
IAG
British Airways, owned by IAG, canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv through October 26.
IAG-owned Iberia Express canceled flights to Tel Aviv until October 31, while Spanish low-cost airline Vueling canceled operations to Tel Aviv until January 12, 2025, and to Amman until further notice.
IRAN AIR
Iran’s national airline has suspended all flights to and from Beirut until further notice.
IRAQI AIRWAYS
Iraq’s national carrier has suspended its flights to Beirut until further notice.
ITA AIRWAYS
Italy’s ITA Airways has extended the suspension of its Tel Aviv flights through October 31.
LOT
The Polish flag carrier canceled its flights to Tel Aviv until October 26, with its first scheduled flight to Beirut planned for April 1, 2025.
LUFTHANSA
The German airline group has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until October 31 and flights to Tehran through October 26. Flights to Beirut have been suspended until November 30. Lufthansa will avoid using Iranian and Iraqi airspace until further notice, aside from a corridor used for flights to and from Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan. Israeli airspace will not be used until October 31.
SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, has suspended flights to Beirut through December 17.
PEGASUS
The Turkish airline has canceled flights to Beirut until October 28.
RYANAIR
Europe’s largest budget airline has canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26.
QATAR AIRWAYS
The Qatari airline has temporarily suspended its flights to and from Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon.
SUNDAIR
The German airline has canceled its Berlin-Beirut and Bremen-Beirut flights until October 31.
UNITED AIRLINES
The Chicago-based airline has suspended its flights to Tel Aviv indefinitely.
VIRGIN ATLANTIC
The UK carrier has extended its suspension of Tel Aviv flights until the end of March 2025.
WIZZ AIR
Hungary-based Wizz Air has suspended flights to and from Israel through October 8.
