Amid escalating tensions in the region, Air France and Lufthansa have begun cancelling flights to Israel, reportedly in anticipation of potential reprisals by Hezbollah. This comes after a series of powerful explosions in Lebanon and Syria left thousands injured.
According to Hebrew media reports, Air France has suspended its Tel Aviv-Paris flights for the next 48 hours as a precautionary measure. Lufthansa, Germany’s flagship carrier, has also immediately halted its flights to Israel, citing security concerns.
The cancellations reflect growing uncertainty in the region, with fears of further conflict or retaliatory actions following the recent explosions. Both airlines have yet to announce when flights may resume.
