Six Senses has announced plans to open a new mountain resort in Colorado. Set to welcome guests in 2028, the Six Senses Telluride will be located in the picturesque town of Mountain Village, perched just above the iconic Telluride.
The resort will feature 77 elegantly designed guestrooms and 24 branded residences, offering a blend of luxury and natural beauty. In addition to its accommodations, the property will boast multiple food and beverage venues, a rooftop pool with stunning mountain views, retail spaces, and conference facilities.
A highlight of the resort will be the Six Senses Spa Telluride, which will offer a comprehensive range of wellness treatments and facilities. Guests can enjoy single and double treatment rooms, a sauna, a hammam, and a cryotherapy bath, all designed to enhance relaxation and rejuvenation. The resort will also provide an on-site Experiences Team to assist guests in planning outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, and unique destination dining experiences. During the winter months, the Six Senses Telluride will offer ski concierge services, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience on the slopes.
This new addition to the Six Senses portfolio is part of the brand’s ongoing expansion in the United States. The first U.S. properties, Six Senses Napa and Six Senses South Carolina Islands, are scheduled to open in 2026. The brand currently operates 27 hotels and resorts worldwide, each known for its commitment to sustainability, wellness, and exceptional guest experiences.
The Six Senses Telluride is set to become a premier destination for luxury travelers seeking a unique blend of adventure, wellness, and relaxation in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.
