Mandarin Oriental, Munich has unveiled a special Oktoberfest experience, offering guests a chance to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the world’s most famous beer festival. From September 21st to October 6th, Munich’s Theresienwiese will transform into a vibrant festival ground for the 189th Oktoberfest, attracting visitors from around the globe with its festive atmosphere and enduring traditions.
To celebrate this iconic event, Mandarin Oriental, Munich has partnered with Heimatglück Tracht, renowned for their bespoke, high-quality Bavarian attire, including Dirndls and Lederhosen. This collaboration allows guests to don traditional Bavarian clothing and truly look the part for Oktoberfest. Guests can enjoy a private In-Room Shopping Experience, offering a relaxed setting for consultations and fittings, or visit Heimatglück’s flagship store for a personalized shopping experience.
The package includes transfers to Oktoberfest in an authentic vintage bus, complete with beer and pretzels. Upon arrival, guests receive two tickets to one of the exclusive Oktoberfest tents, where they can enjoy a typical Bavarian menu featuring dishes such as roast chicken (Brathähnchen), pretzels (Brezeln), and pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe), and dance to traditional brass band music.
Accommodation options range from 48 elegant rooms to 25 suites, including the impressive 325 sqm Grand Presidential Suite. The package also includes a full daily breakfast served in the hotel’s restaurant, along with a selection of Bavarian delicacies in the room upon arrival.
