On April 3, the first “For VISA to Uzbekistan” tour, developed within the framework of the Uzbekistan promotion project, took place. The tour company reports the successful receipt of Visa and Mastercard cards.
The trip does not include sightseeing in Tashkent. Instead, tourists have a visit to a local bank, where they, as customers, open an account and receive debit cards. The travel agency and its Uzbek partner pre-register applications and schedule appointments.
We remind you that Visa, Mastercard and American Express have suspended all operations in Russia in protest at its invasion of Ukraine. Russian citizens can’t pay abroad for goods and services, as well as withdraw currency in any country abroad (except Russia).
Tour company offers direct flights to Tashkent: from Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Kazan, Ufa, Mineralnye Vody operated by “Uzbekistan Airlines” and “Uzbekistan Express” airlines
Cost: from 23,000 rubles per person ($274), flight cost is not included.
Tour operators are exploring other destinations for “card tourism”, such as Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
