SpiceJet today announced the launch of two new seasonal flights connecting Mumbai, the financial capital of India, with Male, Maldives. The new direct flights between Mumbai and Male will commence in a phased manner from 24th December, 2020 under India’s air bubble agreement with Maldives.
Till 3rd January 2021, flights will operate on all days except Tuesdays and Fridays, whereas effective 4th January 2021, flights will operate on every Monday, Thursday and Sunday. SG 91 will depart from Mumbai at 12.35 PM and reach Male at 3 PM (local time) while on return SG 92 will take off at 4 PM and reach Mumbai at 7.30 PM (local time). The airline will deploy its Boeing 737 aircraft to operate on this route.
