Luca Martini the Best Sommelier in the World

Thirty-two years old, from Arezzo, Luca Martini is the Best Sommelier in the World. Luca Martini won the competition held at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London. In second place went to Jonathan Fillon, France, and another Italian competitor, Dennis Metz.

Another Italian competitor, following Luca Gardini, at the top of the Sommeliers’ world, indicating that the Italian Sommelier Association represents the most valuable and well-organized society in transmitting wine culture and training the highest professionals profile of the field.

After the ceremony, the President of Worldwide Sommelier Association Mr. Franco Ricci announced that the next Sommelier World Contest will be held in 2015 in Cancun, Mexico.
