Wyndham Expands All-Inclusive Portfolio with Decameron Hotels & Resorts

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is expanding its all-inclusive offerings by partnering with Colombia-based Decameron Hotels & Resorts. This collaboration adds nine midscale resorts to Wyndham’s all-inclusive portfolio, with four of these properties now under the Ramada brand.

New Additions to the Ramada Brand

Three of the newly branded Ramada resorts are located in Guayabitos on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit:

  • The 240-room Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos
  • The 161-room Decameron La Marina Guayabitos
  • The 146-room Decameron Isla Coral Guayabitos

Additionally, the 231-room Decameron Club Caribbean in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, is now part of the Ramada brand.

Grand Decameron Resorts Reflagged Under Trademark Collection

The remaining five properties, previously Royal Decameron resorts, have been rebranded as Grand Decameron resorts within Wyndham’s Trademark Collection. These properties include:

  • The 620-room Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit
  • The 143-room Grand Decameron Los Cabos in Mexico
  • The 852-room Grand Decameron Panama in Farallon, Panama (approximately a 90-minute drive from Panama City)
  • Two resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica: the 144-room Grand Decameron Montego Beach and the 146-room Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach

Rates start at around $150 per night for the Ramada all-inclusives and $250 per night for the Grand Decameron/Trademark Collection resorts, according to Jimena Faena, Wyndham’s vice president of marketing and brand operations for Latin America.

Strategic Growth and Accessibility

Faena emphasized that the partnership with Decameron marks an initial step in expanding both brands on a global scale. “As a company, we want to make all-inclusive available to all, and that means not only to those that can [afford] luxury vacations, but also those looking for something more approachable,” she stated. “Across all segments, we need to deliver a great vacation.”

Decameron primarily attracts clientele from Latin American countries, and this partnership is expected to enhance Wyndham’s reach within this market.
