Airports
In the “Airports” category, the top prize was awarded to the Satellite Concourse Terminal of Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in China. The terminal project was designed by the Aedas and Landrum & Brown architectural firms.
A special prize for interior design was presented to Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, India.
The winner in the category for the best exterior was Terminal A of Newark Liberty International Airport in the United States.
These outstanding architectural achievements showcase innovation and excellence in airport design, contributing to the global landscape of architectural brilliance. The Prix Versailles 2023 winners continue to inspire and set new standards in the world of architecture.
Train Stations
The top honor in the “Train Stations” category went to the Paddington Station on the Elizabeth Line of the London Underground. The project was executed by Weston Williamson + Partners.
Another project by the same firm, the railway station at Perth Airport in Australia, received recognition for the most beautiful exterior design.
The Best Interior Award was bestowed upon the design of the Yu Yuan Garden Metro Station in Shanghai by Xing Design.
