A Modern Twist on Macau’s Opulence

George Fleck, Vice President, and Global Brand Leader at W Hotels, remarked, “The opening of W Macau – Studio City ushers in a new, modern style of highly-experiential hospitality in a city famous for its traditional approach to opulence.” The introduction of the W brand to Macau is set to resonate with the next generation of luxury travelers, offering a unique and unpretentious experience that blends seamlessly with Macau’s cultural tapestry.

Local Inspiration Meets Global Appeal

Designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, W Macau – Studio City draws inspiration from the glamour of 1950s Hollywood. The hotel’s design showcases intricate detailing, geometric patterns, and contemporary interpretations of Macau’s distinctive East-meets-West culture and history. Guests are welcomed by swirling blue and white waves at the Welcome Desks, while wall structures feature picturesque seashore scenes and mirrored ceilings create mesmerizing underwater perspectives.

Elevated Guestrooms and Suites

The hotel offers 557 distinctive guestrooms and suites, each designed to reflect the classical charm of cinema and Macau’s maritime heritage. Spanning in size from 37 to 258 square meters, all 430 rooms and 127 suites provide charming views of the bustling Cotai or the city. Guests can enjoy their favorite playlists using the Bluetooth sound system while crafting drinks at their in-room W Mix Bar. For those seeking the pinnacle of luxury, the 38th-floor Extreme WOW Suite offers breathtaking 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, a circular bed, and a generous dining area complete with a kitchenette adorned with Portuguese-style ceramic tiles.

A Culinary Journey

W Macau – Studio City boasts four distinctive restaurants and bars that invite guests to savor the finest fusion-forward cuisine. The Living Room offers niche coffees, creative cocktails, and Chinese-Portuguese-inspired pastries, transitioning seamlessly from day to night. A.P.D. (A Perfect Dose), an exclusive speakeasy extension of the Living Room, offers an intimate space with a menu focused on infusion and smoke-themed beverages.

Hawker Hawker, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, draws inspiration from bustling local marketplaces, featuring live kitchens and a menu with international and local flavors. On the 40th floor, DIVA, the specialty restaurant, offers contemporary Cantonese fine dining paired with Te Jiu (tea-infused cocktails) within an awe-inspiring Art Deco setting. Adjacent to DIVA is the hotel’s destination bar, Blind Tiger, offering captivating city views and handcrafted dark spirit cocktails, specialty highballs, destination-inspired cocktails, and a selection of limited-edition Japanese and Scottish whiskeys.
