Celestyal has forged a significant partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) in Abu Dhabi and port developer AD Ports Group. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed during the Arabian Travel Market on May 8, marks a collaborative effort aimed at mutual promotion of both the cruise line and the captivating destination of Abu Dhabi.
Under this agreement, Celestyal commits to promoting Abu Dhabi as a “key destination” to its customers, while Abu Dhabi pledges to enhance the cruise line’s visibility in the region. This strategic alliance underscores the shared goal of boosting tourism and showcasing the unique offerings of both Celestyal and Abu Dhabi to travelers worldwide.
In line with its commitment, Celestyal will commence operating itineraries in the Persian Gulf later this year, featuring seven-day Desert Days cruises departing from Doha. These voyages will include stops at captivating destinations such as Bahrain, Dubai, Khasab, Sir Baniyas Island, and Abu Dhabi. As part of the experience, Celestyal currently offers nine exciting excursions in Abu Dhabi, ranging from theme park visits to beach days and desert safaris.
Leading the charge in these Desert Days sailings will be the Celestyal Journey. However, Celestyal has hinted at the possibility of deploying its other ship, the Celestyal Discovery, in response to the anticipated demand for these departures.
