Avani Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Laos with the opening of Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel, a 197-room lifestyle property overlooking the Mekong River in the heart of the country’s capital.
Located on Fa Ngum Road opposite Chao Anouvong Park, the new hotel offers convenient access to Vientiane’s business district, cultural attractions, and riverside promenade. The opening marks Avani’s second property in Laos, following the successful launch of Avani+ Luang Prabang.
Designed for both business and leisure travelers, Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel combines contemporary guestrooms, flexible social spaces, dining venues, wellness facilities, and event spaces, reflecting the brand’s modern lifestyle approach.
Contemporary Accommodation
The hotel offers 197 guestrooms and suites ranging from Deluxe Rooms to a Presidential Suite. Interiors feature clean architectural lines, functional layouts, and warm contemporary finishes designed to support both productivity and relaxation.
The property is opening in phases, with an initial selection of guestrooms, dining outlets, leisure facilities, and meeting spaces now welcoming guests. Additional amenities will be introduced progressively throughout 2026.
Four Dining Concepts
Dining plays a central role in the hotel’s offering, with four distinct venues opening in stages. Mekong Mosaic, which debuted on July 1, 2026, serves international favorites alongside Lao-inspired cuisine, complemented by live cooking stations, wellness-focused menu options, and in-room and poolside dining.
Sabaidee Social, scheduled to open during the third quarter of 2026, will introduce a Mediterranean-inspired tapas bar with cocktails, casual dining, and live entertainment. The Pantry will serve specialty coffee, baked goods, desserts, and grab-and-go options while doubling as a co-working café.
Completing the culinary offering later in 2026, Salongxay will present an elevated Thai-Lao dining experience featuring contemporary interpretations of traditional regional cuisine alongside an extensive wine selection.
Wellness and Events
Guests currently have access to the outdoor swimming pool and fitness center, with AvaniSpa and additional wellness facilities scheduled to open during the next phase of the hotel’s development.
Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel also aims to become a leading venue for conferences, meetings, and social events in the capital. Its flagship Lanexang Hall accommodates up to 320 guests, supported by additional meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces that will be introduced progressively as the hotel reaches full operation.

The hotel offers curated local experiences and concierge services designed to introduce guests to Vientiane’s cultural heritage, riverside attractions, and emerging culinary scene. Sustainability initiatives include sourcing ingredients from local producers, supporting regional artisans, offering seasonal menus, reducing single-use plastics where possible, and implementing environmentally conscious operational practices.
