Hilton has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane, marking the hotel operator’s entry into the Laos market in Southeast Asia. The company also plans to nearly double its business portfolio in the region in the coming years.
DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane is centrally located at the intersection of Setthathilat and Manthatourath Streets, close to That Dam, the famous Buddhist stupa. Several iconic cultural and historical landmarks, such as the Presidential Palace and the Sisaket Temple, are just a short walk from the hotel. Wattay International Airport is a 15-minute drive away, and Vientiane Railway Station can be reached within 30 minutes by car. The hotel features 188 rooms and suites, each offering panoramic views of the cityscape or the Mekong River. The suites include ergonomic workspaces, and guests can also enjoy the rooftop pool and fitness center.
DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane boasts three restaurants. The 24-hour ORIGIN restaurant offers international and local cuisine, including unique Laotian delicacies under the “farm-to-table” concept. NICO’S sports bar provides a venue for watching sports broadcasts on TV while enjoying a variety of snacks. The rooftop pool bar offers a relaxing escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, along with breathtaking sunset views.
For MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizers, the hotel provides venues for events of all sizes. The main banquet hall, covering more than 550 square meters, can accommodate up to 600 guests. Additionally, two smaller conference rooms, two meeting rooms, and a VIP room are available for events. All venues are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and high-speed internet.
