Castlebridge Hospitality has announced two senior leadership appointments at voco Winchester Hotel & Spa, with Joe Davidovitz promoted to General Manager and James Watson joining the property as Hotel Operations Manager.
The appointments mark a new chapter for one of Castlebridge Hospitality’s key properties as the company continues to strengthen its management team and support future growth across its hotel portfolio.
Joe Davidovitz Promoted to General Manager
Joe Davidovitz brings 15 years of experience with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and has been part of the team at voco Winchester Hotel & Spa since October 2023, when he joined as Operations Manager.
Since then, he has progressed through several leadership roles in recognition of his operational achievements and management capabilities. He was promoted to Hotel Manager in January 2025 before taking on the position of General Manager.
Commenting on his appointment, Davidovitz said he was honoured to lead the hotel and its team.
“It is a privilege to step into this role and lead such a dedicated and talented team. I have developed a strong connection to the hotel, our guests and the local community, and am passionate about building on the solid foundations already in place,” he said.
He added that his priorities would include driving commercial performance, enhancing guest experiences and strengthening the hotel’s position within the market.
James Watson Joins as Hotel Operations Manager
Joining Davidovitz in the leadership team is James Watson, who brings more than 12 years of hospitality experience gained across several roles within Marriott Hotels.
His background includes conference and banqueting operations, leisure services, and food and beverage management. Watson joined voco Winchester Hotel & Spa in February 2026 and will support the hotel’s operational performance and service delivery.
Together, the two leaders will focus on maintaining high service standards while supporting the property’s continued commercial development.
