Qatar Airways has resumed double-daily passenger flights to Abu Dhabi, continuing the gradual restoration of its network across the Middle East.
The return of services to the capital of the United Arab Emirates expands the airline’s UAE operations to three destinations, alongside Dubai and Sharjah.
The resumed Abu Dhabi flights are now in operation and form part of Qatar Airways’ broader effort to rebuild regional connectivity following recent operational disruptions across parts of the Middle East.
Additional regional services restored
The airline recently announced the resumption of flights to several destinations in Iraq, including Baghdad, Basra and Erbil.
Qatar Airways has also reinstated daily services to Bahrain, Damascus and Kozhikode in India, increasing connectivity options for travelers across the region and beyond.
The carrier said the latest additions represent another step in the phased restoration of its international network spanning six continents.
UAE operations continue to expand
The reintroduction of Abu Dhabi services strengthens Qatar Airways’ presence in the UAE, one of the airline’s most important regional markets.
The airline already operates extensive schedules to Dubai and Sharjah, supporting both point-to-point travel and onward connections through Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways has not yet announced whether additional frequencies or destinations will be restored in the coming months, although the company indicated that network rebuilding efforts remain ongoing.
Passengers advised to monitor schedules
The airline also reminded passengers that flight schedules may continue to change due to operational, regulatory or safety-related circumstances.
Travelers have been advised to regularly check the airline’s official channels and ensure their contact information is updated to receive any schedule notifications.
The continued restoration of regional routes comes as airlines across the Middle East gradually stabilize operations amid evolving geopolitical and operational conditions.
