A major new wellness development is planned for Tallinn’s Lasnamäe district, where the area’s first spa and sauna centre is expected to open in 2028.
The €10 million project is being developed by Spa Tours, a company that already operates several spa centres across Estonia.
The new facility will be built in Lasnamäe, Tallinn’s largest district, which is home to around 120,000 residents.
Construction Planned Near Major Shopping Centres
The spa complex is set to be constructed at Mahtra tee 2a, located between Lasnamäe Centrum and Mustakivi Center near the intersection of Mustakivi tee and Laagna tee.
According to the company, construction timelines currently point toward completion during the second half of 2028, provided all permits and approvals proceed as expected.
The planned development will feature a two-storey building alongside parking facilities for 52 vehicles.
Spa Tours Expands Estonian Wellness Portfolio
Spa Tours already operates spa and wellness centres in several locations across Estonia, including Viimsi, Saaremaa, Ida-Viru County and Tallinn’s Õismäe district.
The Lasnamäe project represents a further expansion of the company’s presence within the country’s growing wellness and leisure sector.
Part Of Wider Development Plans For Lasnamäe
Lasnamäe District Elder Miroslav Berezovski described the project as part of a broader development phase for the district.
He said the opening of the spa centre would contribute to improving leisure and lifestyle infrastructure for local residents.
Berezovski also indicated that the next major development goal for the district is expected to involve plans for an Olympic-size swimming pool.
The new spa project reflects continued investment in leisure, wellness and community infrastructure across Tallinn’s residential districts.
