The Lucien Barrière Group has announced the opening of Fouquet’s Mykonos, marking the company’s entry into the Greek hospitality market and continuing the international expansion of its luxury Fouquet’s brand.
The new property is scheduled to open on 27 June 2026 on Paraga Beach in southern Mykonos, one of Greece’s most visited island destinations.
Fouquet’s Brand Expands Into The Aegean
Following openings in Paris, New York, Courchevel and Saint-Barthélemy, Fouquet’s is now expanding into the Mediterranean with a resort designed around luxury hospitality, wellness and lifestyle experiences.
According to Barrière Group, the project reflects the company’s strategy of following guests to high-profile international leisure destinations while maintaining the brand’s hospitality identity.
The hotel will feature 61 suites and three villas overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Cycladic Design With Modern Luxury Features
The property was designed by Divercity Architects and draws heavily on traditional Cycladic architecture through the use of clean lines, natural materials and open spaces connected to the surrounding landscape.
Barrière said the resort has been developed to integrate naturally into the preserved coastal environment while offering direct beach access and panoramic sea views.
Private pools, terraces and secluded coves are intended to create a balance between privacy and large-scale luxury resort experiences.
Wellness And Lifestyle At The Centre Of The Resort
Among the hotel’s standout features is an indoor swimming pool, considered a rare addition on Mykonos, as well as a basketball court carved directly into the surrounding rock formations.
The resort will also include the Rock Spa, created in partnership with skincare specialist Dr. Barbara Sturm.
The wellness centre will offer treatments and facilities including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, flotation therapy and ice baths.
Dining Partnership With Roka
Fouquet’s Mykonos will also feature a restaurant developed in partnership with Roka, bringing the internationally recognised dining brand to the resort.
The restaurant is intended to combine a relaxed beach atmosphere with upscale dining experiences.
Strategic International Expansion Continues
Barrière Group said the opening reinforces its broader ambition to expand into strategic luxury travel destinations through projects combining hospitality, gastronomy and lifestyle experiences.
The development is being carried out in partnership with Yoda Group, while the property will be operated by Barrière under a management agreement.
