A new luxury hospitality concept named Roswyn has opened near Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, introducing a residential-style approach designed around extended stays, work-life flexibility and lifestyle-driven experiences.
The property combines large-format suites, destination dining, social workspaces and wellness facilities in a setting aimed at travellers whose business trips, stopovers or short visits often evolve into longer stays.
Residential-Style Suites Designed For Modern Travel
Roswyn features 109 suites starting from 80 square metres, with layouts intended to feel more like private living spaces than traditional hotel rooms.
Each suite includes a lounge area, kitchenette, home bar and dedicated study space designed to support both productivity and relaxation.
The hotel positions itself as a flexible environment for business travellers, creatives and guests seeking longer stays connected to Mumbai’s urban energy.
Interior Design Inspired By Mumbai
Paris-based designer Daphné Desjeux developed the interiors around subtle references to Mumbai rather than conventional luxury hotel aesthetics.
The design incorporates embroidered portraits, ceramic artwork and photographic studies of the city’s shoreline intended to create spaces with a layered and personal atmosphere.
According to the hotel, the interiors were conceived to evolve gradually for guests spending extended time within the property.
Dining Concepts Focus On Atmosphere And Identity
Roswyn’s food and beverage programme includes Fi’lia, an Italian restaurant centred around generational cooking traditions and seasonal menus featuring Neapolitan-style pizzas and handmade pasta.
The venue is designed to operate as both a neighbourhood restaurant and hotel dining destination, with a focus on long lunches and extended evening dining.
The property also includes Black Lacquer, a Japanese-inspired listening bar built around vinyl music culture.
The venue transitions throughout the evening from a quieter cocktail setting into a more energetic nightlife space, with drinks menus featuring sake, shochu and Japanese-style highballs.
Wellness And Social Spaces Integrated Into The Concept
Roswyn also includes The Third Room, a flexible social workspace designed for meetings, networking and informal collaboration between travellers and local visitors.
Additional facilities include a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, an infinity pool and a children’s area called Tiny Town.
The hotel’s wellness offering is centred around Blu Xone, described as India’s first longevity-focused wellness concept.
Leadership Focused On Long-Stay Hospitality
The property is led by General Manager Rajiv Kapoor alongside Hotel Manager Annam Lubana.
According to the hotel, the leadership team aims to create an experience where hospitality feels intuitive, flexible and closely connected to the rhythm of contemporary city life.
Located close to Mumbai airport while remaining integrated into the city’s social and cultural environment, Roswyn positions itself as a hybrid between a luxury hotel, lifestyle hub and extended-stay residence.
