Ennismore and YAMED have announced plans to launch Delano Marrakech Hotel & Residences, marking the luxury lifestyle brand’s first property in Africa and the debut of Delano residences outside the United States.
The development will position Marrakech alongside destinations such as Miami and Dubai as part of Delano’s expanding global portfolio.
Delano Expands Global Luxury Presence
Originally launched in Miami, Delano became known for redefining modern luxury hospitality through design-led social spaces and lifestyle-focused experiences.
The Marrakech project forms part of the brand’s broader international expansion strategy, which also includes planned openings in London, New York and Miami.
Ennismore said Marrakech was selected for its strong cultural identity, artistic heritage and vibrant social atmosphere.
The development will be located near the city’s Medina, Jardin Majorelle and several major golf courses, with views overlooking the Atlas Mountains.
Hotel To Include Villas, Wellness And Signature Dining
Delano Marrakech Hotel & Residences will feature 130 guestrooms including suites and private villas, alongside approximately 80 branded residential villas.
The resort will include a central swimming pool, wellness facilities, event spaces and multiple food and beverage concepts curated by Paris Society.
Signature venues will include Café Delano and the brand’s iconic Rose Bar.
Wellness offerings will center around The Source by Delano, the company’s wellness-focused hospitality concept, while the Nothing Finer retail platform will provide curated shopping experiences throughout the property.
Luxury Residences Mark Brand Milestone
The project will also introduce the first Delano-branded residences outside the United States.
The residential component will include four- to six-bedroom villas with private pools and dedicated homeowner facilities.
Residents will have access to exclusive amenities including a private lounge, fitness centre, clubhouse, screening room and concierge services.
Additional services will include valet parking and in-residence housekeeping.
Sales for the residences are expected to begin in late 2026, while the hotel is scheduled to open in 2030.

The Marrakech project reflects Ennismore’s continued expansion across Europe, North Africa and Mediterranean resort destinations.
The company’s existing regional portfolio includes properties in France, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Egypt under brands including Mondrian, SLS, Hyde, Mama Shelter and Rixos.
