Hilton has announced a new expansion push in Turkey, signing agreements to open five additional hotels across four brands – reinforcing its long-term strategy in Istanbul and strengthening its presence beyond the country’s main tourism hubs.
The new signings include properties under DoubleTree by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton’s flagship Hilton brand. Openings are scheduled between spring 2026 and 2028.
DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Maçka to open in spring
The first of the new hotels is expected to launch as early as next spring.
DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Maçka will offer 109 rooms and suites, located close to Nişantaşı and Taksim Square – an area popular with both leisure travellers and business visitors.
Facilities will include a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, a wellness complex, and multiple meeting rooms.
Two boutique Tapestry Collection hotels planned for Istanbul
Hilton is also expanding its lifestyle presence in Istanbul through two new Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties.
Gist Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is scheduled to open in 2027 near the Bosphorus and Galataport. The hotel will feature 46 rooms, a restaurant, rooftop bar and fitness centre.
A second Tapestry hotel, Istanbul Sisli, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is planned for 2028 in Şişli, one of Istanbul’s most active commercial districts. The 48-room property will be positioned within walking distance of shops and cultural venues, and will include a restaurant, fitness centre and two meeting rooms.
Hilton Garden Inn targets industrial Kocaeli market
Hilton Garden Inn Kocaeli Dilovası is set to open in 2027 with 104 rooms, becoming the first internationally branded hotel in the centre of Dilovası’s industrial zone.
The property will include a restaurant, bar, wellness centre with an indoor pool, gym and hammam. Business travellers will also have access to several conference rooms, including a multifunctional hall measuring 500 square metres.
Hilton Antalya City Centre set for 2028
Hilton’s flagship brand is also expanding in Antalya with Hilton Antalya City Centre, planned for 2028.
The hotel will feature 254 rooms and suites and is being positioned as a large-scale meetings and events venue. Hilton says it will include a major ballroom and multiple conference rooms, alongside guest amenities such as a spa, indoor pool, rooftop pool and a range of restaurants.
More Hilton projects underway in Turkey
Beyond the five newly signed hotels, Hilton also confirmed additional development plans in Turkey.
In 2026, the company intends to open Hilton Istanbul Airport under its flagship Hilton brand and complete the renovation of Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.
Hilton’s lifestyle pipeline is also set to grow with five new properties, including its first cave hotel under the brand – Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton.
Other Curio Collection projects include Porto Chiara Istanbul Karakoy and Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy. Future Tapestry Collection openings are also planned, including Palazzo Donizetti Istanbul and Myrna Izmir Konak.
