The Margot Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter has officially opened in downtown San Diego as part of Hilton’s growing Outset Collection lifestyle brand.
Located near Petco Park and the San Diego Convention Center, the new property introduces a boutique-style hospitality concept focused on individuality, local identity and residential-style accommodations.
Residential-Style Suites In Downtown San Diego
The hotel features 135 spacious suites designed to combine the comfort of apartment-style living with the atmosphere of an urban lifestyle hotel.
Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, open-plan living spaces and contemporary California-inspired interiors. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light and views across downtown San Diego.
The property aims to create a more personalised guest experience, positioning itself as an alternative to traditional large-format hotels.
Part Of Hilton’s Expanding Outset Collection
The Margot Hotel joins Hilton’s Outset Collection, one of the company’s newest lifestyle hospitality brands focused on independent properties with distinctive local character.
According to Hilton, the collection currently includes more than 60 hotels in different stages of development across the United States, ranging from urban boutique hotels to experience-led resort destinations.
The brand strategy centres on preserving the identity and personality of each property rather than applying a standardised hospitality model.
Managed By Ensemble Hospitality
The Margot Hotel is professionally managed by Ensemble, which will oversee operations while maintaining the hotel’s independent style and guest experience approach.
The property’s location places guests within walking distance of major entertainment, sports and convention venues in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.
The hotel is now officially open and welcoming guests.
