Minor Hotels Announces Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce to Open in April 2026

Minor Hotels is expanding its Italian portfolio with the announcement of Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce, a new boutique hotel set to open in April 2026 in the heart of Puglia. Following an extensive renovation, the property aims to become a new luxury destination in one of southern Italy’s most sought-after cities.

Located in the historic centre of Lecce, on Via Imperatore Augusto between Piazza Sant’Oronzo and Piazzetta Santa Chiara, the future Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce will feature 45 elegant rooms and suites, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Cathedral bell tower. Guests will also enjoy a wellness area complete with an indoor pool, treatment rooms, a Turkish bath, and a fitness studio.

Surrounded by the city’s signature golden sandstone architecture, lively piazzas, cafés, and wine bars, the hotel will combine relaxation with cultural inspiration. Often referred to as the “Florence of the South”, Lecce captivates visitors with its baroque architecture and thriving arts scene. The Roman Amphitheatre, Basilica di Santa Croce, and Lecce Cathedral are just a short stroll away, while Adriatic beaches can be reached in around 20 minutes and Brindisi Airport in about 35 minutes.

“We are delighted to announce this new Tivoli Hotel in partnership with Gest Resort,” said Gonzalo Aguilar, CEO of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas. “With this opening, Minor Hotels’ portfolio in Italy grows to 60 properties. Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce combines the brand’s distinctive style and savoir-faire with the authentic character of Puglia – and will elevate the region’s luxury hospitality to new heights.”

Marisa Bleve, Head of Gest Resort, added:

“We share the ambition to make this exceptional property a true landmark for Lecce. Our goal is to attract new guests to the city while redefining the local hotel experience.”

Founded in 1933 in Lisbon, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is renowned for timeless elegance and a deep connection to each destination. The brand is currently present in Portugal, Brazil, Qatar, China, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. Recent openings include Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia and Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges in northern Portugal.

Minor Hotels operates more than 640 hotels and resorts across 59 countries under leading brands such as Anantara, Tivoli, NH Collection, Avani, and The Wolseley Hotels.
