Telluride, Colorado, is set to welcome a new era of luxury hospitality as construction officially begins on the $1 billion Four Seasons Resort Mountainview, a landmark development scheduled to open in 2028.
The highly anticipated resort will feature 52 hotel rooms, 41 branded hotel residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, and 26 private residences with two to five bedrooms, blending luxury accommodations with the alpine charm of one of Colorado’s most exclusive destinations.
A New Standard Of Mountain Luxury
The Four Seasons Resort Mountainview will include 23,000 square feet of amenities designed to cater to both guests and homeowners. Among the highlights are two restaurants totaling 10,000 square feet, an expansive 9,500-square-foot spa, a 4,700-square-foot pool area, and a 2,300-square-foot meeting space. Additional facilities will include a fitness center, ski valet and locker rooms, retail space, and 20 on-site workforce housing units to support local employment.
The project is being developed by Merrimac Ventures LLC and Fort Partners, with Hayes Davidson serving as project designer. Dev Motwani, president of Merrimac Ventures, described the resort as “a transformative project that brings the signature sophistication of the Four Seasons brand to one of Colorado’s most breathtaking mountain landscapes.”

When complete, the resort will join Four Seasons’ expanding collection of mountain and adventure-focused properties, adding to its footprint in Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Whistler.
