Following a seven-month transformation, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita will welcome guests back on November 1, 2025, unveiling reimagined villas, an expanded overwater spa, refreshed dining concepts, and new sustainability initiatives that highlight the natural beauty of Mauritius’ east coast.
Nestled between Bambou Mountain and a turquoise lagoon, the resort has undergone a comprehensive redesign to create a deeper connection with its surroundings. London-based studio 1508 has reimagined the all-pool villas and private residence rentals, blending light materials, textured fabrics, and vibrant accents inspired by Mauritian culture and landscapes.
Immersive Dining and Cultural Flavours
The resort will debut an expanded dining collection, each venue designed with its own distinct personality. Highlights include Angara for modern Indian tandoor cuisine, Awase with Japanese omakase and pan-Asian influences, and Radici, a rustic Italian trattoria. Guests can also enjoy Mediterranean-inspired dishes at Chaloupe, fresh seafood at the beachfront Ti Pwason, locally inspired sundowners at Blu’Zil, and artisanal blends in the intimate Rum Library. The much-loved La Plaz Beach Grill on Île aux Cerfs will also return, offering fresh seafood and cocktails in a laid-back beachfront setting.
The Oseyan Overwater Spa
At the heart of the relaunch is the new Oseyan Spa, perched above the lagoon and offering wellness journeys that combine global techniques with local traditions. Signature experiences will include herbal rituals, mindfulness therapies, and holistic treatments. The spa’s standout feature is the new Royal Spa Suite, complete with a handcrafted stone tub, steam room, and panoramic lagoon views for private, bespoke wellness escapes.
Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is central to the resort’s renewed vision, with initiatives ranging from a seagrass meadow nursery to support marine biodiversity and carbon capture, to a seahorse conservation program and mangrove honey production that contributes to bee population preservation.
Golf and Island Adventures
Guests will also enjoy a complimentary round of golf each day at either the Ernie Els-designed Anahita Golf Club or the Bernhard Langer course on Île aux Cerfs. Beyond golf, experiences include guided hikes, lagoon explorations by boat, beach relaxation, and curated excursions showcasing Mauritius’ natural wonders.
General Manager Martin Dell described the reopening as “an exciting new chapter where every space has been reimagined to connect more deeply with the beauty and spirit of Mauritius.”
With its revitalized villas, new dining concepts, wellness innovations, and strengthened conservation efforts, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is set to redefine the luxury island escape when it reopens this November.
