Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS have introduced the BRABUS ULTIMA 55, a new 55-foot high-performance luxury catamaran that combines advanced marine engineering with the distinctive design language of the German luxury mobility brand.
The new model is the first yacht to emerge from the collaboration between the two companies and is designed to deliver the space and stability of a catamaran while offering the speed and agility typically associated with performance monohull yachts.
Foiling Technology Delivers Speeds Above 40 Knots
The BRABUS ULTIMA 55 is powered by twin six-cylinder engines producing 725 horsepower each, enabling the yacht to reach speeds exceeding 40 knots. An advanced hydrofoil system lifts the hulls above the water, reducing hydrodynamic drag, improving efficiency and enhancing ride comfort while minimizing heel.
According to Sunreef Yachts, the foiling technology creates a smoother and quieter cruising experience, giving passengers the sensation of gliding above the water.
Carbon Fiber Design and Luxury Interior
The yacht features an extensive carbon-fiber exterior available in Graphite Black or Phantom Grey, with exposed carbon-fiber wings, illuminated BRABUS logos, custom LED roof lights and signature styling details throughout.
Owners can choose from BRABUS Graphite, BRABUS Red or BRABUS Pearl exterior upholstery, while the interior is finished with a bespoke BRABUS Masterpiece leather cabin. Flexible accommodation layouts provide space for up to six guests.
The aft deck has been designed as the yacht’s main outdoor living area. Folding side platforms expand the beam from 5.6 meters to 7.6 meters, creating a significantly larger entertainment space. The deck is finished with Esthec synthetic decking, selected for its durability, low maintenance and secure footing in both wet and dry conditions.

Sunreef Yachts founder and CEO Francis Lapp described the BRABUS ULTIMA 55 as a yacht that delivers a smoother, quieter and more enjoyable ride once it rises above the water on its hydrofoils.
