Overmarine Group has launched the fifth hull in its 54-metre Mangusta GranSport 54 series during a ceremony at the company’s shipyard in Pisa, Italy.
The launch took place on June 24 in the presence of the yacht’s owner and family, together with representatives from MarineMax and Nicolai Yacht Consulting. According to Overmarine, the latest addition further strengthens the model’s popularity, particularly in the Americas, where three sister ships are already in operation.
Designed for Long-Range Cruising
Built with an aluminium hull and superstructure, the Mangusta GranSport 54 has a beam of 9.01 metres and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, keeping it below the 500 GT threshold while maximizing interior space.
The yacht combines sporty performance with long-range cruising capability, offering a range of up to 4,200 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots.
Exterior by Alberto Mancini
The exterior styling was created by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design in collaboration with Overmarine Group, while the naval architecture was developed by PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Architecture.
The yacht features sleek lines, a sculpted stern, integrated air vents within the bulwarks and a distinctive raked windscreen flowing into the roll-bar. Large outdoor entertaining areas have been designed to create a seamless connection between interior and exterior living spaces.
Accommodation for 12 Guests
Natural light fills the interior through expansive glazing, highlighting the yacht’s custom-designed finishes and spacious layout. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests across six staterooms.
Separate crew quarters accommodate up to nine crew members, including the captain, ensuring high service standards during extended voyages.
Performance and Range
The fifth Mangusta GranSport 54 is powered by four MTU engines, delivering a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. At an economical cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht can travel up to 4,200 nautical miles, making it well suited for long-distance passages and extended cruising.
The latest launch reinforces the continued success of the Mangusta GranSport 54 series, which combines the performance of a high-speed motor yacht with the comfort, range and onboard space expected from a modern superyacht.
