Croatian shipbuilder Radez d.d. Shipyard has launched the 49.98-metre motor yacht Oriy, marking a major milestone ahead of the vessel’s delivery and entry into the Mediterranean charter market.
Previously known as Axa during construction, the 499 GT luxury yacht is now undergoing final outfitting before welcoming her first charter guests later this month. The project was developed through a joint central agency partnership between Otium Yachts and CharterWorld.
Designed for Luxury Charter
Conceived as a premium charter yacht, Oriy was developed under the direction of Croatian captain and yacht entrepreneur Ante Ercegović. Exterior styling was created by Nauta d.o.o., while naval architecture was designed by Ivana Peko of Naval Design Solutions in collaboration with Ercegović.
The yacht features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, a beam of 8.95 metres and a draft of 2.45 metres.
Outdoor Living Takes Centre Stage
Oriy has been designed to maximize outdoor enjoyment, with traditional Iroko wood decks, a spacious aft beach club and a swimming pool providing direct access to the sea.
The upper deck accommodates alfresco dining for up to 12 guests alongside generous lounge seating, while the sky lounge offers additional space for relaxation and entertaining.
On the sundeck, guests will find a Jacuzzi, sunbathing areas and barbecue facilities. The yacht also features a fully equipped gym, a private sauna and an extensive collection of water toys, including Seabobs, electric foils, paddleboards, kayaks, Jet Skis, inflatables and two premium tenders.
Accommodation for 12 Guests
The contemporary interior features bespoke furnishings in soft neutral tones complemented by original artwork from Croatian artist Mirna Å isu.
Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests across six staterooms. The main-deck owner’s suite includes a private balcony, office and en-suite bathroom, while the lower deck houses a full-beam VIP suite and four additional guest cabins.
Separate crew quarters accommodate up to 12 crew members, ensuring a high standard of service during charter operations.
Mediterranean Charter Debut
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Oriy has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
Following completion, the yacht will join the Mediterranean charter fleet through Otium Yachts and CharterWorld, offering itineraries in Croatia, Montenegro and Greece. Her first charter guests are expected to come aboard later this month.
