IHCL Signs New Gateway Hotel In Bengaluru’s Yeshwantpur District

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, further expanding its footprint in one of India’s most important business and technology hubs.

The 283-key property will be developed as a brownfield project in partnership with Naveen Hotels and is expected to be completed within the next 24 months.

The signing strengthens IHCL’s presence in North Bengaluru, a rapidly growing commercial and residential district that continues to attract investment driven by the city’s expanding technology and business sectors.

283-Room Hotel Planned For Yeshwantpur

The future Gateway Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru will feature 283 guestrooms alongside a range of dining, leisure and event facilities.

Plans for the hotel include an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, bar and lounge, as well as a pool bar designed to serve both business and leisure travellers.

The property will also include approximately 13,000 square feet of event and meeting space, featuring two large pillarless banquet halls and multiple meeting rooms.

Focus On Meetings And Events Market

In addition to accommodation facilities, the hotel is being designed to target Bengaluru’s growing meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) sector.

The extensive banquet and conference facilities are expected to cater to corporate events, weddings and social gatherings in one of the city’s key commercial micro-markets.

Guests will also have access to a fitness centre and swimming pool as part of the hotel’s leisure offering.

IHCL Strengthens Bengaluru Portfolio

According to IHCL, the signing marks the third hotel partnership with Naveen Hotels and reflects the company’s continued confidence in Bengaluru’s long-term hospitality growth.

Yeshwantpur has emerged as an important commercial district in North Bengaluru, benefiting from strong transport connectivity and proximity to major business hubs.

Bengaluru remains one of India’s strongest hotel markets, supported by its position as the country’s technology capital and a leading centre for startups, innovation and global business operations.

Growing Presence In India’s Technology Capital

With the addition of the new Gateway property, IHCL’s portfolio in Bengaluru will increase to 21 hotels, including 12 properties currently under development.

The expansion forms part of the company’s broader growth strategy as it continues to strengthen its presence across major Indian metropolitan markets.

Once completed, the new Gateway hotel is expected to contribute to the continued evolution of Bengaluru’s hospitality sector while supporting growing demand from business, leisure and event travellers visiting the city.
