Trailborn Opens 68-room Jackson Hole Ski Resort

Trailborn Jackson Hole has completed an extensive transformation that reimagines one of Wyoming’s long-standing mountain resorts through redesigned accommodations, expanded wellness facilities and new dining experiences aimed at adventure travelers.

The property blends the heritage of the former Snow King Resort Hotel with a contemporary, design-forward identity while positioning itself as a lifestyle destination focused on outdoor experiences, wellness and group travel.

The redevelopment introduces major upgrades across guest rooms, public spaces, dining, spa facilities, recreation areas and event venues as hospitality brands continue targeting experience-led mountain travel.

Mountain Resort Redesign Blends Heritage With Modern Style

The redesign preserves the property’s original 1970s chalet-inspired architecture while introducing a refined material palette that includes reclaimed wood, native stone and blackened steel.

A reconfigured mountain-facing lobby now serves as a central gathering space, with bespoke lighting and craft-inspired details helping connect the resort’s heritage with a modern hospitality experience.

Guest rooms have been updated with tailored millwork, stitched accents and layered textures, with many offering balconies and views of Snow King Mountain and the surrounding Tetons.

New Dining Concepts Expand Guest Experience

Food and beverage is now a major part of the resort’s guest experience, led by Old Timer Restaurant & Bar, an après-inspired American grill rooted in Jackson’s ski and mountain heritage.

The restaurant features alpine comfort dishes, classic cocktails, fireplaces and warm wood interiors, with menu highlights including steak frites, alpine cheese fondue and roasted chicken.

Mountainside Bar & Café adds an all-day gathering space across the lobby, lounge, pool deck and outdoor areas, shifting from morning coffee and light fare to evening drinks and shareable plates.

New Spa Creates Major Wellness Destination

The transformation also introduces Ember Lily, a new full-service spa and wellness concept designed around recovery after outdoor adventure.

The spa includes a retail marketplace, halotherapy salt lounge, recovery room, separate men’s and women’s lounges, treatment rooms, steam rooms, an infrared sauna and an outdoor spa deck with a hot tub and cold plunge.

Treatment options include recovery massages and hydrating facials, positioning the spa as one of the property’s most important new amenities for both guests and local visitors.

Adventure Programming And Events Strengthen Resort Appeal

Additional amenities include an expansive game room with duckpin bowling, shuffleboard, board games and video games, along with an outdoor pool, hot tub, retail market and family-friendly programming.

The resort’s Adventure Concierge can arrange national park tours, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, ski gear rentals, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling depending on the season.

Trailborn Jackson Hole also offers more than 22,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for corporate retreats, weddings, conferences, incentive travel and private group gatherings.

Through Trailborn’s Keep Extraordinary initiative, a portion of direct bookings supports the Jackson Hole Land Trust and its work protecting landscapes across northwest Wyoming.

As part of the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, the resort also gives guests access to Marriott Bonvoy benefits, including earning and redeeming points, member experiences and elite recognition.
