QantasLink Launches Major Fare Sale With Flights From $99 Across Regional Australia

QantasLink has launched a major anniversary sale to celebrate 25 years of operations, offering discounted fares across dozens of regional Australian destinations with one-way tickets starting from $99.

The limited-time promotion includes almost 170,000 seats priced at $125 or less, covering 56 destinations across the country for travel between July 2026 and April 2027.

Regional Australia Goes On Sale

The sale includes routes to destinations such as Port Lincoln, Bendigo, Broken Hill, Hobart, Cairns and Devonport, giving travellers access to both well-known holiday spots and lesser-visited regional communities.

Qantas said the promotion is designed to encourage more Australians to explore regional destinations while also helping regional passengers connect more easily with major cities and international services.

Sale fares include checked baggage as well as complimentary food and beverages onboard.

25 Years Of QantasLink

QantasLink was established in May 2001 after Qantas combined several regional carriers under a single brand, including Airlink, Eastern Australia Airlines, Sunstate and Southern Australia Airlines, alongside the recently acquired Impulse Airlines.

Over the years, the network expanded further with the addition of Network Aviation, strengthening services to remote mining communities in Western Australia.

Today, QantasLink operates around 500 flights each day to more than 60 destinations across Australia and overseas, making it the country’s largest regional airline network.

Strong Demand Expected

The anniversary sale is expected to generate strong interest from travellers planning domestic holidays for late 2026 and early 2027, particularly as regional tourism continues to perform strongly.

Domestic Economy Classic Reward Seats on Qantas-operated flights are also currently available at a 20 percent discount for eligible bookings made before May 25.

According to QantasLink chief executive Mark Dal Pra, the airline’s regional network remains central to keeping communities connected across Australia.

He said the anniversary sale reflects the airline’s long-standing commitment to regional travel while also encouraging more Australians to explore destinations beyond the country’s largest cities.

Sale Dates And Travel Window

The sale began at 12:01am AEST on May 20 and runs until 11:59pm AEST on May 26 unless sold out earlier.

Selected travel periods apply between July 2026 and April 2027, with availability expected to vary by route and departure date.

With domestic travel demand remaining high and regional tourism continuing to grow, the discounted fares are likely to attract significant attention from travellers looking for affordable flights across Australia.
