Developers JMA Ventures and Machete Group are preparing to launch construction on Westcourt, a major $500 million mixed-use development planned for downtown Orlando, Florida.

The large-scale project will rise along West Church Street and include a Kimpton-branded hotel, residential towers, office space, entertainment venues, retail areas and public green space.

Kimpton Hotel Planned As Part Of Multi-Phase Project

The development will feature a 265-room Kimpton hotel as part of a broader strategy to create a new mixed-use destination in downtown Orlando.

In addition to the hotel, plans include 269 high-rise residential units and a 3,500-capacity Live Nation entertainment venue designed to host concerts and large-scale events.

Developers also plan to add approximately 125,000 square feet of entertainment and dining-focused retail space.

Office Space And Public Areas Included

The project will include around 310,000 square feet of Class A office space, with leasing efforts currently underway through Foundry Commercial.

Plans also call for 1.5 acres of green space integrated into the wider development alongside more than 1,140 parking spaces.

The overall project is expected to cover roughly 900,000 square feet across multiple phases.

Construction Team Confirmed

Baker Barrios has been appointed as project architect, while Turner Construction will serve as the general contractor for the development.

The Westcourt project adds to ongoing investment and redevelopment activity in downtown Orlando as the city continues expanding its residential, entertainment and hospitality infrastructure.

Developers have not yet announced an official opening timeline for the Kimpton hotel or the wider mixed-use complex.
