Cabot Revelstoke is continuing development in British Columbia as the luxury alpine resort project moves forward with a new golf course, high-end residences and a mountain lodge scheduled to open in 2027.
Located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort and surrounded by the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges, the destination aims to combine golf, skiing and luxury hospitality in one of Canada’s best-known outdoor tourism regions.
New Golf Course Planned For 2026 Preview Opening
The centrepiece of the project is an 18-hole golf course designed by Alberta-based architect Rod Whitman of Whitman, Axland & Cutten.
The course is positioned above the Columbia River valley and has been designed to integrate with the natural terrain while maximising panoramic mountain and river views.
Developers say the layout will feature wide fairways, expansive greens and dramatic bunkering alongside cliffs, creeks and natural landforms.
Cabot Revelstoke is also pursuing environmental sustainability through Audubon International’s Platinum Signature Sanctuary certification programme.
Limited preview play for the public golf course is expected to begin in autumn 2026.
Short Course And Entertainment Hub Planned
Alongside the championship course, Cabot will introduce a par-three short course named The Railyard in recognition of Revelstoke’s railway history.
The area will include a clubhouse with dining, bowling lanes, virtual golf simulators, shuffleboard and additional recreational facilities designed to serve both visitors and the local community.
Construction on The Railyard is expected to begin later this year.
Luxury Residences Near Sell-Out
The residential component of the project draws inspiration from European alpine ski chalets in the Alps and the Dolomites.
Designed by architecture firm Hart Howerton with interiors by Studio K, the residences feature large terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic mountain views.
Developers said Chalet 1, which includes nine luxury residences with four- and five-bedroom layouts, is nearly sold out.
Prices for four-bedroom residences currently start at CAD 7.6 million.
Mountain Lodge Scheduled For 2027 Opening
The 155-room Cabot Revelstoke Mountain Lodge is scheduled to open in early 2027 and will serve as the resort’s central hospitality hub.
The lodge will include a modern steakhouse and bar, spa and wellness facilities, hot tubs, sauna areas, a fitness centre and retail spaces.
The property will also feature an event venue inspired by European alpine architecture capable of hosting weddings, corporate events and celebrations for up to 400 guests.
Guests will additionally have access to dedicated golf and heli-skiing check-in services as part of the resort experience.
