COMO Hotels and Resorts has raised its flag on the French Riviera with the rebranding of the landmark Le Beauvallon, now operating as COMO Le Beauvallon. Once a celebrated Belle Époque palace, the 42-room property has been meticulously reimagined as a refined Riviera sanctuary.
The historic hotel, which first opened in 1914, welcomed guests again last summer after a long period as a private events venue. Under COMO’s direction, the first phase of its transformation introduced 25 sea-facing suites, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the iconic estate.
A Hillside Estate With Direct Access To The Riviera
Set across a private ten-acre estate of palms, pines, and rolling lawns, the hotel occupies a commanding hillside position overlooking the bay. The grounds extend down to its beach club, Beauvallon Sur Mer, which features a bayside pool, lounge, rooftop bar, and beachfront restaurant.
A private jetty allows guests to board a COMO speedboat for a complimentary eight-minute transfer to Saint-Tropez, while a second boat provides access to the beaches of Pampelonne. The property is also accessible by yacht, helicopter, or road, reinforcing its appeal as a seamless luxury destination.

A Culinary Destination Led By Yannick Alléno
Central to the hotel’s relaunch is its ambitious culinary concept led by chef Yannick Alléno, one of the most influential figures in global gastronomy, with more than 20 restaurants worldwide.
At COMO Le Beauvallon, his vision spans from breakfast through to late evening, positioning the property as one of the Riviera’s key dining destinations for summer 2026. The flagship restaurant, Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno, introduces a distinctive approach that blends Southeast Asian techniques with Mediterranean flavours.
“I didn’t expect to be so deeply moved by this place. The gulf, the light, and the history of this palace, dormant for so many years, create a real sense of responsibility. I now have 21 addresses around the world, and travel is at the heart of each one. COMO Le Beauvallon will be a destination in its own right,” said Yannick Alléno.
Suites, Wellness And A Renewed Riviera Identity
The hotel offers 28 suites, including the signature COMO Suite, all with sweeping views of the bay, while Hillview rooms overlook the Provençal countryside.
Guests can also access a COMO Shambhala retreat with two treatment rooms, offering holistic therapies rooted in the brand’s wellness philosophy and expert-led approach.
With yacht moorings offshore and on-site helicopter landing facilities, COMO Le Beauvallon positions itself as a fully integrated luxury destination. Rates start from €840 per night, as the property reclaims its status as one of the Riviera’s most iconic addresses, blending heritage with a renewed culinary and cultural identity.
