Aman Group has announced plans for its sixth property in the United States, introducing a new concept for the brand with its first ranch-inspired retreat. Named Amansanu, the development will be located in the Texas Hill Country, less than 90 minutes from Austin.
Set within a landscape of rolling hills, limestone cliffs, and winding creeks, the project aims to combine Aman’s signature minimalist luxury with a distinctly Texan sense of space and nature.
Amansanu represents a strategic expansion of Aman’s footprint in North America, complementing existing destinations such as Amangiri, Amangani, and Aman New York.
The new retreat is designed to feel both remote and connected – offering seclusion and panoramic views across valleys and canyons, while remaining within reach of a major urban hub.
Standalone Pavilions And Private Residences
The resort will feature a collection of standalone guest pavilions alongside a limited number of Aman-branded residences.
Residences will range from four to eight bedrooms, each set on private plots of ten acres or more. Designed for indoor-outdoor living, the homes will include private pools and expansive terraces, aligning with Aman’s emphasis on privacy and space.
Wellness, Nature And Ranch Living
Amansanu will introduce a new dimension to Aman’s experiential offering through a ranch-style concept.
Planned amenities include a central Main Lodge, multiple dining venues, and an expansive Aman Spa and Wellness Centre. Outdoor activities will play a key role, with hiking trails, racquet sports, and the brand’s first fully serviced stables – offering a refined take on contemporary ranch life.
Growing Pipeline Across The Americas
The project forms part of a broader expansion strategy for Aman across the region. Upcoming openings include Amanvari, as well as future developments in Beverly Hills, Miami Beach, and The Bahamas.
Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin described Texas Hill Country as a natural fit for the brand, citing its landscapes and cultural identity as aligned with Aman’s philosophy of creating tranquil, design-led sanctuaries.
No Opening Date Yet Confirmed
While no official timeline has been announced, Amansanu is positioned as a significant evolution for Aman in the United States – introducing a new hospitality typology while maintaining the brand’s core principles of privacy, serenity, and deep connection to place.
As luxury travellers increasingly seek immersive, nature-driven experiences, the ranch-inspired retreat signals where ultra-high-end hospitality may be heading next.
