Aman, the global pioneer of serene luxury, is set to unveil its newest coastal sanctuary, Amanvari, in spring 2026. Nestled along the East Cape of Baja California, Mexico, this tranquil escape will feature just 18 elegant keys and a collection of private branded residences — marking Aman’s highly anticipated debut on the Baja Peninsula.
Designed by Heah & Co. and brought to life by Elastic Architects, Amanvari fuses contemporary architecture with organic minimalism, celebrating the delicate meeting point of beachfront, desert, and estuary. True to Aman’s philosophy of harmony between nature and design, the resort’s layout blurs the boundaries between indoors and out, offering elevated Casitas that frame sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez, the Sierra de la Laguna mountains, and the rugged beauty of the East Cape.
Each space draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, with interiors crafted in sand-hued tones and natural materials such as white concrete, tropical hardwoods, and stone. Bespoke ceramics and original artworks by Mexican artisans will lend each suite a distinct sense of place.
Amanvari’s private residences will continue this dialogue with nature, offering secluded villas positioned directly on the sand or perched above the sea and the estate’s Robert Trent Jones II-designed golf course. Each home will embody Aman’s signature style — timeless, tranquil, and deeply connected to its environment.
Guests will also find an array of signature Aman experiences that reflect the brand’s holistic wellness ethos. The resort will feature an Aman Spa with a modern interpretation of a temazcal (traditional sweat lodge), open-air Spa Houses, and a yoga pavilion set against the Baja horizon. Distinctive dining venues will highlight the region’s vibrant flavors and sustainable ingredients, while quiet courtyards and shaded terraces offer contemplative retreats throughout the property.
Amanvari will sit within the Costa Palmas community, a 1,500-acre private estate featuring three miles of swimmable beach, organic farms and orchards, a deep-water marina, and a yacht club.
