Wizz Air is expanding its Armenian network once again, announcing a new direct route from Yerevan to Bratislava. The service begins on January 13, 2026, and will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season. Tickets are already available on wizzair.com and the WIZZ app, with fares starting from 29.99 EUR.
Bratislava, set along the Danube River, is a welcoming capital known for its relaxed atmosphere and walkable historic centre. Travellers can explore Bratislava Castle, St. Martin’s Cathedral and the lively Old Town square, or take in panoramic views from the UFO Observation Deck. The city’s cafés, museums and riverside promenades help create a slow-paced, enjoyable city break that appeals to families, culture lovers and younger travellers looking for an affordable European escape.
The new route strengthens Wizz Air’s position as Armenia’s leading airline and opens more direct, low-cost travel options for local passengers. It also supports growing tourism flows between Armenia and Slovakia.
“This is the ninth new route we are introducing from Yerevan this year,” said Anastasia Novak, Corporate and Sustainability Communications Manager at Wizz Air. “With each expansion, we reaffirm our commitment to offering passengers more destinations, greater convenience and consistently affordable fares.”
One-way fare includes administration fee and one small cabin bag (40×30×20 cm). Additional charges apply for wheeled and checked baggage. Limited seats available at the listed price.
