CRRC Changchun and China Railway Harbin Group have unveiled the first YINLV tourist train, a new concept designed to bring more comfort, leisure, and technology to rail travel. The 18-carriage train can accommodate up to 528 passengers and offers a blend of modern amenities with a travel experience centered on relaxation and discovery.
The train includes 13 sleeper carriages, a dining car, and a multifunctional carriage. Each sleeper carriage features 10 four-berth compartments with ergonomic ladders, higher ceilings for more headroom on upper bunks, and elevated lower berths that create extra luggage storage space.
Leisure facilities play a central role in the design. The multifunctional carriage includes a “reading corner” with a bookshelf, sofa, and screen, along with an interactive space for up to 20 people to sing, exercise, or enjoy massage sessions.
Passenger well-being is also a focus: the train is equipped with a medical cabin offering a spinal physiotherapy device and an AI-powered health scanner.
The launch of YINLV highlights China’s growing investment in tourism-focused rail travel, combining comfort, entertainment, and advanced technology in a single journey.
