Prague-based private rail operator RegioJet is entering the Polish domestic market, starting with its first route between Kraków and Warsaw. Test services will begin on 18 September 2025, with tickets priced from 49 PLN (≈€11).
The launch will be phased:
18 September 2025: Test operations on the Kraków–Warsaw route, with potentially longer travel times as staff undergo training.
14 December 2025: Transition to a regular schedule with speeds comparable to Poland’s Express InterCity Premium (EIP) trains.
1 April 2026: Full-scale operation at maximum capacity.
RegioJet is known for its high-quality service, offering food and drink delivery to seats, an onboard entertainment portal, Wi-Fi, and unlimited coffee in most classes.
The company also plans to expand its Polish network from December 2025, including routes such as Warsaw–Poznań, Kraków–Warsaw–Gdynia, and international connections to Prague and Vienna.
This move marks RegioJet’s first entry into Poland’s domestic market, bringing competitive pricing and enhanced onboard services to travelers.
