Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, has officially resumed operations, according to a statement from the Russian Embassy in Nepal.
Nepal’s aviation authorities announced that the airport reopened at 15:30 local time on September 10. Passengers are advised to confirm updated flight information directly with their airlines’ support services.
The embassy also noted that details on safe movement through Kathmandu to reach the airport can be obtained from representatives of the Nepalese armed forces.
At the same time, diplomats cautioned that the full implementation of the reopening may take some time, urging travelers to remain patient and factor this into their travel plans.
