Dusit International has entered a strategic partnership with SYDEL, a prominent French real estate investment firm. The collaboration marks the creation of Dusit France—a joint venture that will introduce Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to France for the very first time.
Signed during an exclusive ceremony on 10 July 2025 in Paris, the agreement unites Dusit’s rich legacy of service excellence with SYDEL’s deep-rooted local expertise. The goal: to identify and develop hotel properties across France that align with Dusit’s diverse portfolio of nine brands—ranging from affordable lifestyle offerings to luxurious wellness retreats.
Among the brands considered for debut in the French market are:
Dusit Thani (bespoke luxury),
Devarana – Dusit Retreats (wellness-focused luxury),
Dusit Collection (heritage and character-driven luxury),
Dusit Hotels (upper-upscale),
dusitD2 (lifestyle upscale),
Dusit Princess (upper-midscale),
ASAI Hotels (lifestyle midscale),
and Dusit Suites (lifestyle long stay).
The partnership aims to identify prime locations, support asset repositioning, and introduce forward-thinking hotel concepts centered on well-being, cultural authenticity, and sustainability. With France’s rich tourism legacy and Dusit’s commitment to guest experience, the collaboration is poised to redefine hospitality standards in the region.

With a current global portfolio of 294 properties across 18 countries—including 55 under the Dusit Hotels and Resorts umbrella and 239 luxury villas under Elite Havens—Dusit has already made a successful foray into Europe through Dusit Suites Athens, an upper-upscale property in the coastal Glyfada district of the Athenian Riviera. The launch of Dusit France further underscores the group’s ambition to bring its distinctive Southeast Asian hospitality philosophy to key global markets.
