Air Canada has announced the extension of its innovative multi-modal service in partnership with The Landline Company, bringing seamless ground-air connectivity to Kingston Norman Rogers Airport (YGK). Beginning September 23, 2025, passengers from Kingston will be able to connect directly to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) via luxury motorcoaches, enjoying a smooth, premium travel experience that integrates seamlessly with Air Canada’s global flight network.
This expansion marks the third Canadian route operated in partnership with Landline, following successful launches in Hamilton and Kitchener-Waterloo in 2024. It represents a major step in restoring vital transportation links for the Kingston region, while enhancing convenience for both local residents and international travelers.
A New Kind of Connection
The Air Canada-branded Prevost motorcoaches, built in Quebec, offer 36 leather reclining seats in a comfortable 2-1 configuration, with free high-speed Wi-Fi, power outlets, and a lavatory onboard. Accessibility is a priority: coaches include a power lift and designated spaces for passengers with mobility aids. Announcements are made in both English and French.
Passengers traveling from Kingston will check in for their full trip at YGK, check their luggage through to their final destination, and board their coach from the airport’s designated departure point. Upon arrival at Toronto Pearson, they’ll go directly to bag drop and security—just like any regular connecting passenger.
Seamless Schedule for Global Reach
Two daily return trips will connect Kingston to Toronto, with schedules designed for easy connections to and from flights across Air Canada’s vast international and domestic network:
| Flight | Depart | Arrive | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| AC2514 | Kingston 04:00 | Toronto 06:50 | Daily |
| AC2515 | Toronto 08:10 | Kingston 11:05 | Daily |
| AC2516 | Kingston 14:00 | Toronto 17:30 | Daily |
| AC2517 | Toronto 19:10 | Kingston 22:05 | Daily |
One Booking, One Journey
Travelers can book their entire trip—including the coach segment—on aircanada.com with a single itinerary, earning Aeroplan points for both ground and air segments. Checked baggage is tagged to final destinations, and disruption protection is the same as for traditional flight connections.
As part of the launch offer, coach segments can be added to existing bookings at no additional charge. Air Canada is offering a fee waiver for itinerary adjustments that include the Landline connection until December 31, 2025.
Boosting Regional Access and the Local Economy
“This is a premier example of the new opportunities our growing partnership with The Landline Company unlocks,” said Ranbir Singh, Director of Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada. “We’re reconnecting Kingston with our global network—offering comfort, reliability, and global access on a single ticket.”
Nick Johnson, Vice President, Commercial at Landline, added:
“This new Air Canada service allows Kingston travellers to seamlessly book one-stop journeys… just as they would with a traditional connecting regional flight.”
For the City of Kingston, this move represents more than convenience.
“Reliable, integrated transportation links like this are essential to supporting our tourism sector, enabling workforce mobility, and strengthening Kingston’s appeal for conferences, investment, and innovation,” said Craig Desjardins, Director of Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships.
A Scalable Model for Regional Canada
Air Canada currently serves 40 Canadian communities, often in partnership with Jazz Aviation LP and PAL Airlines. The Landline service offers a cost-effective, sustainable, and passenger-friendly alternative to short-haul regional flights, with potential for further expansion to other underserved or recovering airports across the country.
