SkyUp Teams Up With Vision Air for More Flights

SkyUp is strengthening its position in the global aviation market by forming a strategic partnership with Moldovan airline Vision Air. This collaboration is set to significantly expand the network of available flights and improve connectivity between Eastern Europe and other regions, marking another step in SkyUp’s transformation from a regional carrier into a global airline brand.

Under the terms of the agreement, SkyUp will promote and sell tickets under its own name for routes operated by Vision Air to and from Moldova. This move enhances flexibility and accessibility for travelers, particularly those planning multi-destination trips across Europe, by offering more departure points and smoother transfer options.

The newly formed alliance also introduces a multi-operator model under the SkyUp name. Moving forward, flights branded as SkyUp may be operated by any of the following carriers:

  • SkyUp Airlines LLC, based in Ukraine

  • SkyUp MT Limited, based in Malta (European Union)

  • Vision Air, based in Moldova

This structure not only diversifies SkyUp’s operational capacity but also ensures greater resilience and adaptability in a competitive aviation market. By leveraging the regulatory environments and geographic advantages of multiple jurisdictions, SkyUp is well-positioned to scale up its route offerings and reach untapped markets.

Travelers booking through SkyUp can now expect an expanded range of destinations and improved scheduling options. As the company continues to recover and grow in the post-pandemic travel landscape, this new alliance with Vision Air demonstrates its commitment to enhancing passenger experience and access across borders.

With Eastern Europe emerging as a vibrant hub for air travel, SkyUp’s strategic pivot signals its ambition to become a recognizable name far beyond Ukrainian skies. The added presence in Moldova, combined with SkyUp’s established operations in Ukraine and Malta, sets the stage for continued growth in both leisure and business travel sectors.

This agreement reflects a broader industry trend of airline consolidation and cooperation aimed at optimizing resources while offering passengers more comprehensive travel solutions. SkyUp’s latest move confirms it’s not only keeping pace—but charting its own course.
