EVA Air is making headlines in the travel world by launching its new Taipei–Dallas route, further strengthening its position in the North American market. Starting October 3, 2025, the Taiwanese airline will operate three weekly flights between Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Adding Dallas brings EVA Air’s total number of passenger gateways in North America to nine. Other destinations already served include major cities like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, and Vancouver. With this move, EVA Air becomes the only airline in Asia to operate two direct routes to Texas, highlighting the strategic importance of the region.
According to EVA Air President Clay Sun, this new route isn’t just about expanding service—it’s a response to real demand. “We are seeing strong passenger demand for this route due to the influx of numerous companies in recent years and strong economic and population growth,” said Sun. “Dallas has become one of Texas’ economic and commercial centres.”
The airline has long operated cargo flights to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport since 1998. Now, with the launch of a direct passenger service, travelers from the Dallas area gain convenient access not just to Taiwan but also to the broader Asian continent via easy transfers through EVA Air’s hub in Taipei.
The new flight schedule is designed with connectivity in mind. Passengers departing from Dallas will leave late in the evening and arrive in Taipei early in the morning, making same-day transfers to destinations throughout Asia simple and efficient.
Here’s the flight schedule:
Taipei to Dallas (Flight BR50) – Operates Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departure: 19:10, Arrival: 19:40 (same day).
Dallas to Taipei (Flight BR49) – Also on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departure: 22:50, Arrival: 04:05 (+2 days).
This development enhances travel options for both business and leisure travelers, particularly as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport continues to grow. It is now the third largest airport in the world by passenger traffic and offers connections to cities throughout the United States, Central, and South America.
With its robust flight network, EVA Air is poised to attract even more passengers from North America, further strengthening its hub in Taiwan and enhancing its global operations.
