Fiji Airways has announced the launch of a new route connecting Nadi, Fiji’s primary airport, with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) starting December 10. The airline will operate three weekly flights on this route using its two-cabin Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which features 33 lie-flat business class and 301 seats economy seats. All business class seats offer direct aisle access.
Dallas will become Fiji Airways’ fourth destination in the United States, joining existing routes to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Honolulu. Fiji Airways remains the only airline offering nonstop flights between the U.S. and Fiji, further enhancing its connectivity between the two regions.
This new route launch comes as Fiji Airways prepares to become a full member of the Oneworld alliance by mid-next year, advancing from its current status as an associate member. American Airlines, which operates a major hub at DFW, is the largest Oneworld member airline, making this partnership particularly significant.
In addition to the new route, Fiji Airways and American Airlines have announced plans to expand reward-redemption opportunities for AAdvantage members flying on Fiji Airways.
Tickets for the new Dallas-Fort Worth route are already on sale, with an introductory roundtrip fare starting at $699, according to Fiji Airways.
